I advised her to check out the Fast For Word program but not Auditory Integration Therapy as AIT has had some negative outcomes reported. A great site is the Waisman Center in Madison, Wisconsin.  I don't know the web address but it can be found easily via any search engine.  People have been moving to Madison from all over the country because of the work that the center does with autistic clients.
